Criminal Registration and Fingerprinting Schedule
The Finger Print Technician is responsible for the fingerprinting of citizens and registering Criminal Registrations and Sex Offenders/Predators. Citizens that are required to submit their finger prints for jobs or other reasons can also be fingerprinted at the Sheriff’s Office. Criminal registrations consist of convicted felons and career offenders, registering when they are released from prison or when they move into Leon County from another jurisdiction. Sex Offenders/Predators are required to register at required intervals by Florida Statute.
CCW (Concealed Weapons Permit) Information during COVID-19 closures: Currently both, LCSO and the Department of Agriculture are closed for fingerprinting services related to obtaining a CCW permit.
Sexual offender/predator, career offender, and criminal registrations are completed Monday , Wednesday and Fridays ONLY between 8:30am-11:30am and 1:00pm-4:30pm
Civilian fingerprinting is currently NOT AVAILABLE during this time due to COVID-19 restrictions.
All fees are payable by cash, cashier's check, or check made payable to the Leon County Sheriff's Office.
Currently, credit card/debit card payments are NOT accepted.
